The School Day

The timings of the school day are as follows:

	Nursery	Reception & KS1	KS2 (Y3-6)
Morning session	08.45–12.00	08.45–12.15	08.45-12.15
Lunch	-	12.15 -13.15	12.15-13.15
Afternoon session	12.15-15.20	13.15-15.20	13.15-15.20

We operate a ‘soft start’ to the day. This allows children to come straight into their classrooms from 8.45am when the gates open and complete a quiet morning activity.

All children should be in their classrooms by 8.50am for registration. Punctual arrival is important for learning good life habits and to get the day off to a positive start for themselves and their class.

We also offer wraparound care from 7.30am – 6pm, for all pupils in Nursery upwards.

Morning playtime takes place between 10.30 and 10.45am for pupils in Years 1 to 6.
